Gluten-Free Does NOT Equal Living in Deprivation

If you’ve been gluten-free for a while now you know that gluten-free does not equal living in deprivation all the time.

 

Yet, if you just started being gluten-free, that may just be where you are stuck.

 

When I tell people I’m gluten-free, a typical response is, “Oh wow, that must be so hard, you must miss a lot of foods.” Or, they say, “Oh you poor thing” and feel bad for me.

 

Overall, this comes down to your mindset, which certainly needs to be worked out if you believe these statements.

 

Having been gluten-free for so long now, I can tell you that there can be NO deprivation in living gluten-free.

 

There are so many new gluten-free 

foods out there to enjoy.

 

There are more gluten-free products coming on the market daily.

 

More companies are offering new 

gluten-free alternatives.

 

More products are available than ever before in the gluten-free world.

 

A lot of foods are naturally 

gluten-free (really!).

 

Top 5 Hacks for Eating Gluten-Free

 

Possibly you’re missing a favorite food you used to enjoy, like grandma’s famous chocolate chip cookies or Aunt Betty’s lasagna.

 

Guess what?

 

Look around and you will find substitutes to use to recreate your favorite dishes.

 

Yes! You can!

 

We did at our house and you can too. There may be some trial and error but it can work out as you go through the process.

 

When you start your gluten-free journey,

look around and discover new foods.

 

There is so much out there for you to enjoy – even being gluten-free!

 

Don’t let others get you down. You will soon see that there really is NO deprivation in gluten-free living.
