Be Thankful for Your Gluten-Free Life

Be Thankful for Your Gluten-Free Life

November always reminds us to be thankful and express gratitude in our life.

This really got me thinking about my own life, my gluten-free life.

I am really thankful that I’m gluten-free.  Actually, it may very well be one of the best things that have ever happened to me.

You may think I am crazy for sharing this

but think about it . . .

I spent years feeling terrible, with no one able to tell me what was actually wrong.

I spent years telling doctors I thought that food was making me sick. (They all said no!)

I spent years missing celebrations and fun times with family and friends because I felt terrible and didn’t want to leave the house.

I spent time resting, snuggled at home when I should have been out living my life!

Finding out I had to live gluten-free

changed everything

I learned a lot about food.

I started eating healthier than I ever had (even though I thought I had been eating pretty healthy.)

I realized that all the symptoms my children were having, that could not be explained, were all due to Celiac Disease.

My children were diagnosed with Celiac Disease because I was researching and trying to understand my gluten-free life.

Other family members and friends started understanding that their symptoms were possibly caused by gluten (from listening to me go on about living gluten-free!)

The terrible symptoms that kept me from living a full life – lessened and disappeared. (Unless I was accidentally “glutened”, which can happen.)

My children gained their energy back and are now healthier than ever.

I have always loved baking.  Living gluten-free taught me about the multitude of flour options I could use for gluten-free baking – I had no idea these flours existed.

I became a Certified Health Coach because I learned so much about living my gluten-free life that I needed to share and teach others.

I taught my family the importance of living a healthy lifestyle, living gluten-free, and being empowered with this lifestyle.

I have empowered clients to live gluten-free.

I now teach YOU how to understand and incorporate gluten-free living in your everyday lives with ease. (Friends, it does NOT have to be stressful!)
