Washing Hands for Food Allergies

Washing Hands for Allergies

Food allergies are serious.

How are you washing hands for food allergies?

Many schools and camps pass around hand sanitizers before eating, thinking they are doing good for children with allergies.  Yet, this is not the case!

All children should be washing their hands with soap and water instead.

Please ask your school or camp what policy they have in place.  Ask them to go back to the good old-fashioned washing hands with soap, or have families send in wipes.

Everyone should be able to sit down and eat in a safe environment.

Please share this with your teachers and schools!
