Being gluten-free, along with other allergies, my family cannot always find a recipe that is EXACTLY what we can follow.
No problem, we just change it up to fit our needs.
Swap out items you cannot eat with options that still complement the dish and are a safe bet for you.
Swap out gluten-filled items with gluten-free ingredients, or dairy products with non-dairy alternatives.
Take time to play around with multiple options to create a new, delicious dish to enjoy.
Get creative! You will be happy with the results – even if it takes a few tries.

Giada has given me a lot of inspiration over the years by watching her cooking shows. She is always creating delicious meals and treats. This book is full of mouth-watering ideas, with many you’ll want to try right away.
Deliciously G-Free by Elizabeth Hasselbeck
This is a wonderful gluten-free cookbook with many ideas for everyday use. For those following dairy-free and lower-sugar recipes, you can easily cut back on her portions of both and substitute where needed. Results are fabulous!
Crazy Sexy Kitchen by Kris Carr and Chef Chad Sarno
I love to follow Kris Carr, a truly inspiring health activist! She always offers important health advice and information that motivates. This book is absolutely fabulous and filled with scrumptious recipes to try right away.
The AutoImmune Paleo Cookbook by Mickey Trescott
and
The AutoImmune Wellness Handbook by Mickey Trescott and Angie Alt
Both of these cookbooks contain so much relevant information for those living with autoimmune diseases. If followed by the book, they can offer a true look into your issues with food allergies as they take you on an allergen approach to manage your illness. Their recipes are outstanding.
Against all Grain by Danielle Walker
This book is full of paleo recipes – all gluten-free, grain-free, and dairy-free. Great ideas to try out in your kitchen.
